Islamabad: Government has decided to take action against those selling smuggled things on social media.

As per media reports, monitoring of those selling non custom paid things on social media will be made. Data of those selling smuggled things on social media will be collected. Different tools will be used against those selling smuggled things on social media.

Details of numbers of those involved in selling goods on social media will be collected. Data of persons involved in selling smuggled electronics, tyres, spare parts of vehicles and equipment , house hold goods, smuggled shoes and cloth will be collected .

Data will also be collected of the persons selling smuggled lap top, computers, stoves, cooking range, crockery, choppers, smuggled dry fruits, tin foods, jam jelly,, sanitary fittings and other goods.

E -mails, mobile numbers of these sellers will also be traced out, Assistance will be sought from NADRA for identification of those selling smuggled goods. Notice will be sent to them.
