Islamabad: Government has decided to impose smart lock down due to rising prices of petroleum products.

As per media reports, different proposals were reviewed in the perspective of surging prices of petroleum products in the meeting held under Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif.

According to sources proposal for 4 working days in a week in government and private offices under smart lock down has been given.

The formula for working by government employees through rotation is under consideration. Proposal has been given to ground 50 percent government vehicles.

The closure of bazaars for three days and curtailing time frame of bazaars was also considered.

Final decision with reference to smart lock down is expected till evening today.
