PESHAWAR:Energy minister Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari while assuring governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi of reducing the load shedding in high loss areas has decided to introduce Transformer based load management system in KP.

As per media report, under this new system load management will be made at individual transformer level instead of entire feeder.

The consumers who are paying electricity bills regularly will be able to get relief.

An important consultative meeting of federal and provincial leadership was held for durable solution to address the energy problems of KP under the directives of Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif .

Meeting was attended by minister for energy Owais Ahmad Khan Leghari, petroleum minister and chief secretary KP.

Governor KP Faisal Karim Kundi raised the issue of prolonged load shedding in the province.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi underscored the need for taking immediate and effective steps for giving relief to people in provision of electricity in high loss areas.

The federal and provincial leadership agreed on taking joint steps for addressing the energy problems of KP and providing immediate relief to the people.
