RAWALPINDI:NAB has issued notice to Asad Mehmood son of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and former communication minister on the matter of 4252 appointments in Pakistan Post.

NAB has directed him to appear in person on November 10.

NAB Rawalpindi has started investigation into appointments made in Pakistan Post during tenure of Asad Mehmood as communication minister.

Former federal minister Asad Mehmood has been directed to appear in person on the allegation of illegal appointments.

NAB investigation includes allegation of making 4252 appointments against approved posts of 2646.

Investigation will be made on the matter of 4252 appointments in Pakistan Post.

Reply has been sought from the former federal minister on several allegations including violation of domicile quota.

NAB has directed Asad Mehmood to appear before investigation team at 11 a.m on November 10.
