Govt not serious in talks, we are not being allowed to meet Imran, Bushra Bibi: Barrister Gohar Ali

Islamabad: Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has said government is not serious in talks and our meeting is not being arranged with PTI founder and Bushra Bibi.

Former speaker National Assembly (NA) Asad Qaisar has said KP is being victimized and we are not being given our right.

They said this while addressing a press conference here Thursday.

Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, secretary general Suleman Akram Raja and Asad Qaisar said people and army fight the wars together. What is the reason people are not with the institutions at present. This gulf can be bridged by PTI only.

We don't want martyrdom of innocent people therefore, we are opposed to military operation. Thousands of people are becoming homeless in it.

Dialogue is must with Afghan government. We will get nothing as long as gulf remains between institutions and people.

Policy should not be one man centric and it should be national.

We stand with the people of the province. We don't want to see our people homeless.

The talks with reference to terrorism are next to impossible without Imran Khan.

Asad Qaisar said a sum of Rs 106 billion of KP government are due from federation on account of net hydal. Rs 567 billion are payable by federation to KP government in NFC.

On the occasion of merging of tribal areas in KP, our share rose to 19 percent but we are not being paid even 14 percent. Federation is trying to keep one province backward intentionally. Our industries are becoming closed due to closure of borders. Hope and employment are needed to youths in the province.

PTI is the largest party in the country. But the party is neither allowed to hold public meetings nor peaceful protest. This is not in the interest of country. We believe in law and constitution.

Barrister Gohar ALi Khan said no talks are being held with any one at present. We have demanded we be allowed to meet PTI founder and Bushra Bibi now .

Secretary General Suleman Akram said we are standing with the people of the province. Political talks and terrorism are two different things. Talks should be held with KP government in this regard.

He underlined there would be no talks without PTI founder.
