Islamabad: Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has directed the authorities concerned to accelerate work on projects being carried out under the Prime Minister's Youth Programme.
PM Shehbaz Sharif was talking to Chairman Prime Minister's Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Prime Minister, describing the youth as the future of the nation, also directed to intensify the efforts to provide maximum opportunities to young Pakistanis.
PM Shehbaz Sharif said providing employment, education, technical training and other opportunities to the youth are among the foremost priorities of the government.
The Prime Minister said the government is striving to introduce Pakistan's youth as the best workforce in the global market.
During the meeting, Chairman Prime Minister's Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of various projects being implemented under the Prime Minister's Youth Programme.
