Islamabad: Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has said federal government will bear the expenses related to treatment in 42 private hospitals in Islamabad.

He said this while addressing a ceremony here Wednesday.

He held government has included 42 private hospitals in Sehat Sahoolat program so that the pressure on government hospitals could be minimized. Government will bear the expenses of treatment in the hospitals which have been included. This step is part of Sehat Sahoolat program which has been reactivated after several years of suspension.

Providing quality medical facilities to the people is top priority of government. Pressure is increasing on government hospitals persistently due to growing population.
