Islamabad: Federal government has withdrawn both of the notifications regarding restrictions on pension and salary on re-employment after their retirement.

According to new office memorandum issued by ministry of finance the order regarding withdrawing these notification will stand implemented with immediate effect.

Finance ministry has withdrawn the notification issued by it on April 22, 2025 whereby it was made incumbent to opt for either pension or salary on re-employment after retirement.

Restriction was imposed on the federal pensioners for drawing both pension and salary simultaneously who are re-employed after their retirement on attaining superannuation age.
