Muridke: Robbers on Sunday shot and killed a greengrocer for showing resistance during alleged heist at Sabzi mandi Lahore, reported.

According to details, Laborer’s body was moved to Lahore’s Mayo Hospital’s mortuary.

Sources revealed Sunday that instead of investigating the murder, police is involved in allegedly minting money from victim’s family.

It was reported that Muhammad Aslam, who was running small vegetable shop in his native area, went to Sabzi Mandi Lahore where he was allegedly killed during robbery.

Police had declared dead body as heirless and shifted it to Mayo hospital’s morgue.

The family knew about the incident after twenty days and upon reaching police station, they were allegedly asked for money instead of being served with justice.

Victim’s family told that they do not have money to feed their children and police are demanding huge amount of money.
