Hafiz Naeem condemns massacre of bus passengers in Balochistan, terms it heinous act of terrorism

Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Emir Engineer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has strongly condemned the horrific massacre of innocent passengers by armed assailants in Balochistan, calling it an unforgivable act of terrorism.In a statement issued from Mansoorah on Friday, the JI Emir demanded that the government expose the perpetrators behind the attack and ensure they are brought to justice without delay. He prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyrs and expressed heartfelt condolences to their families.Hafiz Naeemur Rehman stated that the brutal killing of nine individuals traveling on passenger buses along the national highway between Zhob and Loralai was yet another heinous crime against innocent civilians. He said the alarming rise in terrorist activities in both Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a matter of grave concern for every Pakistani.He warned that the Zhob incident appears to be part of a dangerous conspiracy aimed at inciting ethnic and provincial discord. He lamented the repeated fa ilure of the government and security agencies to provide safety to the public. 'The intelligence agencies must set aside distractions and focus on their core responsibility of ensuring national security,' he said. 'Federal and provincial governments, along with law enforcement agencies, must take urgent measures to protect citizens' lives.'
