Lahore: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore has rejected bail pleas of PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Omar Sarfraz Cheema and Mian Mehmood ur Rashid in May 9 siege and arson case.

Judge Manzar Ali Gill of ATC announced the decision.

The petitioners took the plea police registered the case against the facts. They have no concern with siege and arson. We are in jail ever-since we have been arrested. Court is requested to accept our bail pleas.

Prosecution opposed bail pleas saying the accused have been found culprit in the investigation. Court should reject bail pleas.

The court while initiating proceedings dismissed bail pleas of former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former governor Punjab Omar Sarfraz Cheema and Mian Mehmood ul Rashid.

Case was registered against the accused in police station Sarwar Road.
