Rawalpindi: Judge Amjid Ali Shah of Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Rawalpindi has adjourned hearing of 12 separate cases related to May 9 violent demonstrations, attack on GHQ and key installations, siege and arson of private and state property, attack on police officers against more than 500 accused including former foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi without any proceedings.Hearing has been adjourned till next dates.The copies were to be distributed among the accused during the hearing of the cases Wednesday and they were to be indicted.After marking the attendance of the accused the hearing of attack on GHQ case was adjourned till October 18 and other cases till November 4.In these cases over 500 accused persons have been included. They are Chief Minister (CM) KP Ali Amin Gandapur, Shireen Mazari, Zartaj Gul, Azam Swati, Sadaqat Abbasi, Arif Abbasi, Col (Retd) Shabbir Awan, Latasab Satti, Chaudhry Javed Kausar and former federal and provincial ministers and members of assemblies.However CM KP, Z artaj Gul, Azam Swati and other ministers are on bail.It is pertinent to mention here Rawalpindi Police had registered case No 708 in police station RA Bazaar, case No 563 in police station city, case No 836 in police station Cantt, case No 759 in police station Race Course, case No 2106 in police station New town, case No 2076 in police station Sadiq Abad, case No 981 in police station Civil lines, case No 914 in police station Waris Khan, case No 397n in police station Morgah, case no 744 in police station Sadar Wah and case No 940 in police station Taxila.Former chairman PTI was arrested on January 8 in these cases.
