Islamabad: Hearing of the petitions against presidential ordinance and postponement of Local Government election in federal government have been adjourned without any proceedings in Islamabad High Court (IHC).

As per media reports hearing of the petitions has been adjourned without any proceedings in IHC due to non-availability of justice Azam Khan.

Cause list of his court has also been cancelled due to non availability of justice Azam Khan.

Jammat-e-Islami (JI) and Markazi Muslim League have filed petitions and IHC has issued notice to Election Commission (EC) and respondents besides seeking reply from them.

The court had clubbed case of Markazi Muslim League with the case of JI.

Registrar office will fix next date for hearing the case.
