Lahore: Hike in price of petroleum products has been challenged in Lahore High Court (LHC).Judicial Activism panel has filed miscellaneous petition against recent increase in price of petroleum products in LHC.The petition said government has increased price of petrol per liter by Rs 1.35 . Like wise price of diesel has been increased by Rs 3.84 per liter.The notification issued by the government for enhancement in the price of petroleum products is illegal.The petitioner has prayed the court to declare the increase in the price of petroleum products null and void.
