Islamabad: Inside story of meeting between JUI-F head Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on 26th constitutional amendment has come to open amid the reports the distances between Maulana Fazlur Rehman and government has started widening on this matter.
Sources said PM Shehbaz Sharif and Bilawal Bahutto went to the residence of Maulana Fazlur Rehman at late Thursday night and during consultation Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed his reservations on certain things.
Maulana held government responsible for formation of forward block in JUI-F.
Maulana said on one side they are talking about developing consensus and on the other side complaints are pouring in about changing loyalties of his party parliamentarians by government. In this situation how the consensus draft bill will be evolved or legislation will be enacted.
The legal teams of JUI-F, PPP and PML-N also held consultations on the draft of constitutional amendment.
