Islamabad: House Rent Ceiling (HRC) of federal government employees has been enhanced by 85 percent.

Federal cabinet has accorded approval to increase HRC of federal government employees by 85 percent through a circulation.

As per media reports ministry of housing and works had sent this summary to federal cabinet for approval. Cabinet has formally approved it.

Under this decision uniform increase in HRC will be granted to all federal government employees from grade 1 to grade -22

Sources said this enhancement in HRC will shift overall financial burden of Rs 12 billion to national kitty.
