Islamabad: Information Minister Attaullah Tarar while giving advice to KP Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur has said he should place focus on the development and welfare of people of his province than staging smaller protests." He has tremendous resources. He should spend them on uplift of people rather than spending them here and there on unnecessary things. Economy has taken off. We are highlighting soft image of Pakistan. Investors from all over the world are heading towards Pakistan, he said this while addressing a press conference here Friday.He stated that comprehensive arrangements are being made for the hosting of SCO Summit in Islamabad.He pointed out Pakistan is hosting such a mega event after many decades which is an honour for the country. He mentioned that the heads of government from the member countries will attend the conference.The Information Minister said Pakistan is securing successes on the foreign policy front under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He sai d the visits of foreign delegations to the country is a manifestation of it.He said the visit of the Malaysian Prime Minister remained successful which will help promote bilateral relations between the two countries in diverse fields. He said Malaysia has expressed interest to import rice and meat from Pakistan.Attaullah Tarar said a Saudi high level delegation is also visiting Pakistan in the next few days.Alluding to the improved economic indicators, the Information Minister said the world institutions and leaders are also recognizing the fact and it is also for the opposition to accept it.He said improving the lives of common man is the priority of the government.He underlined PTI staged dharna at the beginning of CPEC. Holding SCO is great honor for Pakistan. The protest on such occasion will send negative message.He went on to say we have to show positive image of Pakistan to the world.They should voice protest on the floor of parliament. Protesting on roads will send negative i mpression. The economic uplift of the country should be praised.I advise Ali Amin Gandapur to go to Peshawar and reduce fares of transport.
