Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has said he appreciates from the core of his heart the supportive and courageous remarks by President Donald Trump with reference to signing Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.

PM held Pakistan will continue to play constructive role together with the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkiye, to ensure defence of the entire region.

" I once again pay tribute to the courageous and decisive leadership of President Trump which helped in averting nuclear disaster and saving millions of lives in South Asia.

In his social media message US president said signing Makkah joint defence agreement by Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkiye is good omen. This agreement by three countries is a courageous step.

It is pertinent to mention hare Turkiye has said Egypt too wants to become part of Makkah joint defence agreement.
