Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has approved bail after arrest plea of PTI International Media Coordinator (IMC) Ahmad Waqas Janjua in terrorism case besides ordering to release him.A division bench of IHC comprising Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb and Justice Babar Sattar took up the petition for hearing Tuesday.Wife of Ahmad Waqas Janjua appeared in the court along with her counsel.The counsel took the plea Ahmad Waqas was lifted from home and case for recovery of kalashnikov was registered. Later we came to know about FIR and he was kept in habeas corpus for two days.Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb inquired is he from media.The counsel said he is not from media. He is international coordinator of PTI. The case and arrest of Ahmad Waqas came to our knowledge when we filed case in the court. Arrest was shown along with Rauf Hassan and others. Rauf Hassan was released on bail.The court inquired you say what.The state counsel said 300 gram ammunition has to be recovered. Kalashnikov has to be recovered. It is requested bail plea be rejected.The court approved bail after arrest plea.
