Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed chairman CDA to give possession of the plot to the citizen within a month.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani while expressing resentment during the hearing of petition over not giving possession of the plot to the citizen remarked if I issue arrest warrants of chairman CDA , will the job be done then.

Tell your office they should do their job completely otherwise arrest warrants will be issued. Then fine will be slapped. Then I will make sit chairman and member board here and ask them to issue order.

He gave these remarks during hearing of the case against not giving possession of plot to a citizen in sector E-11 despite court's orders.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani while moving to counsel for CDA during the hearing of the case remarked case is running since such long period. Why the possession has not been given to affectees so far. Should I issue arrest warrants of chairman CDA and then the job will be done. Tell your office they should do their work completely otherwise arrest warrants will be issued.

Counsel for CDA said member CDA board is on leave for four weeks. Time be given.

The court remarked Ask him who is on four weeks leave to redress the grievance of affected citizen before next hearing. Tell the member board if court's order is not implemented he should come to court despite being on leave.

The counsel for the petitioner said CDA is not discharging its obligations despite lapse of several years.

The court while directing to give possession of plot to the citizen till next hearing adjourned the hearing of the case till next month.
