IHC extends its order for stopping trial court from announcing final decision in 190 million pounds reference

Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has extended till October 2 its order for stopping trial court to announce the final decision in 190 million pounds reference.Chief Justice (CJ) of IHC Aamer Farooq remarked we have not stopped trial but we have stopped from announcing final decision.He gave these remarks while presiding over a two members bench of IHC during the hearing of acquittal pleas of PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi Thursday.NAB requested the court to adjourn the hearing.CJ IHC Aamer Farooq said NAB prosecutor has requested for adjourning the hearing.NAB prosecutor Rafay Maqsood said the accused are not cooperating in trial.CJ IHC Aamer Farooq remarked we have not stopped trial but we have stopped from announcing final decision. If they don't cooperate in trial then the respective court will see it. Trial will continue means will continue but final decision will not be given. I have said this in simple English. Trial is in what phases and what is happening, we will not in terfere in it.The CJ IHC while addressing counsel for PTI founder Imran Khan said this impression be not given we are delaying.IHC while directing Accountability Court to continue trial adjourned the hearing of the case till October 2.
