Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) Constitutional bench while giving time to counsel for the petitioner to file reply to reply in Islamabad High Court Judges transfer case has adjourned the hearing till April 29.
The court said in its order registrar SC and secretary Judicial Commission had filed their written replies while federal government had filed its reply through Attorney General (AG). Registrars of Balochistan High Court, Islamabad High Court, Peshawar High Court and Sindh High Court filed their replies.
The respondents sought time for filing written reply to reply.
This order has been issued by a five members constitutional bench of SC presided over by Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar after hearing the case.
Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar while addressing Munir A Malik, counsel for petitioners judges said written replies of all the respondents have come. Will you want to give reply to reply on them.
Senior counsel Munir A Malik replied yes I will give reply to reply in writing.
Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar inquired how much time you will need.
The counsel replied " give the time till next Thursday.
Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar said why so much time is needed. Several lawyers have to give arguments. This case be not prolonged so much.
The court adjourned hearing of the case till April 29.
