Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has been moved for fixing appeal pleas of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi against punishment awarded in Toshakhana -1 case for early hearing.

Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi have filed miscellaneous petitions in IHC praying the court for fixing their appeal pleas against sentence in Toshakhana-1 case for early hearing.

These petitions have been filed through barrister Suleman Safdar.

The petitioners have taken the plea punishment was awarded in Toshakhana-1 case on January 31, 2024. Appeals against these sentences are pending hearing in IHC still and have not been fixed for hearing so far.
