IHC orders Chief commissioner Islamabad to file report again on situation of prisoners of Islamabad in Adiala jail

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered Chief Commissioner (CC) Islamabad to file report again about the situation of prisoners of Islamabad in Adiala jailThe court has issued order on Wednesday on the petition for arranging meeting of his lawyers with PTI founder in Adiala jail.The petition regarding restriction on jail meetings of PTI founder came up for hearing before Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir.Adiala jail authorities appeared in the court.On the order of court superintendent Adiala jail filed report in how many cases PTI founder is imprisoned in jail.Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked how the prisoners of Islamabad are kept in Adiala jail. There will be some notification. What is settled between administration of chief commissioner Islamabad with Jail authorities ,it should be filed in the court.Sher Afzal Marwat said interior ministry issued a notification that no meeting can be held in jail.Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked the notification on ban on meetin gs for two weeks has become in-fructuous now.The state counsel told Additional Advocate General Punjab Baligh uz Zaman has informed Islamabad High Court. The notification on ban on meeting for 14 days has become ineffective.Sher Afzal Marwat said Aftab Bajwa was saying from jail before you that bring court order if meeting has to be arranged.Court remarked Sher Afzal Marwat Sahb you should also cooperate with jail authorities.The state counsel of Punjab government told when PTI founder was in Attock then such problem was not being faced.Sher Afzal Marwat said Punjab government had placed list of 28 persons before PTI founder.The court remarked the prisoners of Islamabad have been kept in Adiala jail under what arrangement. Chief commissioner should file report again.The counsel for chief commissioner Islamabad sought time for filing reply.The court adjourned the hearing of the case after Eid.
