IHC orders Imran others to file reply on petition seeking removal of provocative X accounts posts of Imran Khan

Islamabad: Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir of Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to PTI founder and all respondents to file reply within two weeks to the petition seeking removal and blocking of alleged illegal X accounts posts of Imran Khan based on ill intent .

The court has sought written reply from National Cyber Crime Agency, superintendent Adiala jail and other respective respondents.

Barrister Zafarullah appeared on behalf of the petitioner.

The petitioner took the plea alleged provocative and defamatory material was posted by PTI founder on his X account during his detention which runs contrary to law and public interest.

it was further requested in the petition that such posts may not only be removed immediately but also their spread be stopped so that law and order situation in the country could not be affected.

The court while directing all the respondents to file reply within two weeks adjourned the hearing of the case.
