Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has reserved judgment on the petition against the order for identification parade of PTI 33 workers arrested from PTI protest.Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) had powers to issue order for identification parade. Identification parade was to be conducted by judicial magistrate and not executive. This identification parade is of no use. A decision is therein and even then this all is being done. This identification parade is useless.IHC gave these remarks on Thursday.The petition against order regarding identification parade of PTI 33 workers arrested from PTI protest came up for hearing before IHC .The state counsel stated in the court the identification parade of the accused persons has been completed.Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir inquired who conducted identification parade of the accused persons.The state counsel said assistant commissioner conducted identification parade as executive magistrate.The court remarked this court has given decision . Still now executive magistrate is conducting identification parade.Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked this all process is wrong what you are doing.How did the judicial magistrate give order for identification parade.The court remarked judicial magistrate could grant transit remand maximum.Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir remarked ATC had powers to order for identification parade.
