Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought reply from the respondents for putting name of Aleema Khan sister of PTI founder in ECL.

The petition seeking removal of Aleema Khan name from ECL came up for hearing in the IHC Monday.

During the hearing of the case Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro inquired is any proceedings under section 87 or 88 not pending hearing against the petitioner.

The counsel told the court no proceedings under section 87 or 88 is pending hearing against the petitioner.

The court inquired why name of Aleema Khan was included in ECL.

Later the court while summoning report from the respondents adjourned the hearing of the case till May 5.
