Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned report from IG Police in the case of illegal detention of citizen.

The case against keeping citizen Ali Muhammad in their illegal custody by police came up for hearing in IHC Monday.

Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani heard the case.

The court called detailed report from IG Islamabad and SP police Rural.

The court directed Khanna Police SHO to record the statement of abducted person Ali Muhammad and report be presented thereof.

Sher Afzal Marwat appeared in the court on behalf of petitioner.

He took the plea SHO Secretariat Ishfaq Warraich received bribery of Rs 550000 from father of abducted person and released Ali Muhammad.

Sher Afzal further told the court that according to Ali Muhammad several men and women were also detained at the venue of illegal detention.

IHC while directing to make picture of Ali Muhammad and bring it on record adjourned hearing of the case till March 3.
