Islamabad: Islamabad High Court (IHC) while suspending the orders on stopping payment of judicial allowances to special courts, tribunals and law officers has issued notice to federation, finance ministry, Controller General Accounts and Accountant General Pakistan and sought reply from them within two weeks.

Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir issued order for hearing the case on the petition filed by the employees.

The court suspended the orders of Accountant General office and ministry of finance for stopping the payment of allowances.

The court maintained letters of September 5 and 15 , 2025 orders are suspended.

The court while issuing notice to federation, finance ministry, Controller General Accounts and Accountant General Pakistan has directed the respondents to file para wise comments within two weeks.

The court has issued written order wherein it is said that as per counsel for the petitioner finance ministry and Accountant General office have stopped payment of allowances to the employees.

According to the counsel Multan and Bahawlapur benches of Lahore High Court have already suspended the orders.

The next hearing of the case has been fixed on February 09.
