Lahore: Anti Corruption Court (ACC) Lahore has adjourned till November 13 hearing of illegal appointments in Punjab Assembly (PA) case against former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and others.Sardar Muhammad Dogar judge of the court heard the case Wednesday.The counsel submitted one day exemption plea of Pervaiz Elahi in the court.The exemption plea said Pervaiz Elahi is unwell and doctors have advised him for bed rest. It is requested the court to accept his one day exemption plea.The court while expressing displeasure over non appearance of Pervaiz Elahi remarked one or other accused becomes absent on every hearing to avert indictment.The other accused appeared in the court. Muhammad Khan Bhatti co-accused of Pervaiz Elahi was presented from the jail.The accused could not be indicted due to absence of Pervaiz Elahi.The court while accepting one day exemption plea of Pervaiz Elahi adjourned the hearing till November 13.According to prosecution Pervaiz Elahi and Muhammad Kha n Bhatti had given jobs in grade -17 to those who had failed in written test. The favorites were given jobs by changing result of written test.
