Lahore: Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered federal government and other respondents to file written reply in connection with implementation of Supreme Court (SC) order on removing bill boards from cities.Justice Shujaat Ali Khan of LHC took up the case for hearing Wednesday.Counsels of PHA, Cantonment Board and DHA appeared under the court's orders.The court inquired during the hearing of the case bill boards are in all over the world, Then petitioner has what problem.Azhar Siddique counsel for the petitioner said bill boards are installed in the world within the parameters of law. Several accidents occur in the world due to bill boards. Lahore was city of gardens and not the city of bill boards. Bill boards have affected beauty of cities.The counsel for federation and Punjab government requested the court to grant more time to file reply which was accepted by the court.The court ordered federal government and other respondents to file reply on next hearing.The court made it clear if repl y is not filed on next hearing then the responsible officers will be summoned in person.
