Lahore: Anti Corruption Court (ACC) Lahore has approved one day exemption plea of former Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Muhammad Khan Bhatti in illegal appointments in Punjab Assembly (PA) case.

The case pertaining to alleged illegal appointments in PA against Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and others came up for hearing in ACC Tuesday.

Judge Javed Iqbal of ACC heard the case.

The court while accepting one day exemption plea of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and Muhammad Khan Bhatti sought arguments on plea of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi for permanent exemption .

The court sought arguments on the acquittal plea of co-accused Mukhtar Ranjha advocate.

The court adjourned hearing of the case till March 31,

Deputy Prosecutor General Tanvir Kamyana appeared in the court on behalf of Anti Corruption. However Anti Corruption has already filed challan against the accused.
