Islamabad: PTI founder and Bushra Bibi have filed contempt of court petitions against Superintendent Adiala jail.

The matter of not getting signed power of attorney (vakalatnama) from Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi has reached Islamabad High Court (IHC).

Barrister Suleman Safdar has filed contempt of court petition in IHC.

The petitioner requested that IHC May 20 decision was not implemented. The court had ordered superintendent Adiala Jail to get sign the power of attorney from Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.

PTI founder and Bushra Bibi are being subjected to political victimization.

It was said in the petition that our team kept on going repeatedly outside Adiala Jail but superintendent Adiala jail did not get sign the power of attorney from Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.

They requested the court to initiate contempt of court proceedings against superintendent Adiala Jail.
