Islamabad: PTI founder Imran Khan has been again shifted to Adiala Jail after his medical check up in PIMS hospital Islamabad.

Information minister Atta Ullah Tarar has said in a statement on social media platform X that PTI founder was shifted to hospital on the night between August 20 and 21 in the light of Supreme Court (SC) decision under proper security arrangements.

A doctors team comprising specialists conducted detailed check up of Imran Khan and declared him medically fit. Later he was brought to Adiala jail.

Eye specialist, heart specialists, physician and team of competent doctors conducted medical check up of Imran Khan in details.

According to Atta Ullah Tarar doctors declared the prisoner medically fit. His sister Uzma Khan remained present during all the phases of medical check up. Following completion of all phases he was shifted to Adiala jail at about 5 a. m morning on August 21.

Atta Tarar said his medical check was conducted in PIMS hospital . PTI workers created security situation on way to Shifa Hospital and outside. Due to this situation PTI founder was taken to PIMS hospital.

Information minister said as per medical check up Imran Khan was found healthy. Medical facilities were provided to PTI founder early and now too will be provided when need arises .

It may be mentioned Supreme Court (SC) had ordered to shift PTI founder to hospital within two days besides arranging his meeting with his family members once in a week.

Meeting of his sister Nourin Khan was arranged with Imran Khan after SC orders.
