Srinagar: In yet another act of state terrorism, Indian troops martyred three Kashmiri youth in a fake encounter during a violent cordon and search operation in Srinagar district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

According to media reports, the operation was jointly launched by Indian Army, police and Central Reserve Police Force in Dachigam area of the district. The operation is ongoing in Lidwas, Dara and adjoining areas.

Locals in the area have condemned the Indian authorities' attempt to link the martyred youth to the Pahalgam attack. They asserted that the youth were innocent and killed in a fake encounter to falsely brand them as militants.

Srinagar-based political analysts have also pointed out that the BJP-led regime is using such staged encounters to deflect criticism, particularly from voices like P. Chidambaram who have questioned the official narrative on the Pahalgam attack.
