Inquiry against 4 DSPs from Sindh ordered

Karachi: IG police Sindh has ordered to hold inquiry against 4 DSPs on the charges of facilitating the smuggling, illegal occupation of land and extorting money.

As per media reports, DIG Tanvir has been appointed as Inquiry Officer.

The DSPs against inquiry has been ordered are DSP Sohrab Goth, Aurangzeb Khattak, DSP Kalakot Asif Munawar, DSP Kharadar Shabbir Ahmad and DSP Eid Gah Zafar Iqbal.

DSP Sohrab Goth Aurangzeb Khattak is charged with occupying land illegally and facilitating in smuggling.

DSP Kalakot Asif Munawar is charged with extorting money from drug traffickers and parking mafia.

DSP Kharadar is charged with extorting money from hard carts and tea hotels. DSP Eid gah Zafar Iqbal is alleged of extorting money from owners of hand carts and tea hotels.

IG Sindh has directed DIG Sindh Tanvir Alam Odhoo to file inquiry report till September 26.
