Lahore: The interim bail of PTI leader Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and Jamshed Iqbal Cheema has been extended till December 12 in May 9 cases.

The interim bail plea of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and Jamshed Iqbal Cheema came up for hearing in Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Lahore in 8 cases including Jinnah House, Askari Tower and May 9 siege and arson cases.

Judge Manzar Ali Gil of ATC Lahore heard the cases.

Jamshed Iqbal Cheema appeared in the court on expiry of interim bail period while one day exemption plea was filed on behalf of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema.

Musarrat Cheema took the plea in the application she cannot appear in the court being unwell.

The court accepted it.

The court extended interim bail of both the leaders till December 12.

The court ordered that investigation be completed to the extent of Musarrat Jamshed Cheema. Investigation in respect of Jamshed Iqbal Cheema has been completed.

The counsels for the accused will give arguments on the bail pleas during next hearing.
