Lahore: Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has extended till October 8 interim bail of opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Umar Ayoub, Asad Umar , Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and others in Police station Shadman Town siege and arson case.Duty judge of ATC Arshid Javed heard the interim bail pleas on Wednesday in May 9 police station Shadman town siege and arson case.The lawyers of Asad Umar and Umar Ayub filed one day exemption plea which was accepted by the court,.The lawyers said Asad Umar could not appear due to his illness while hearing of some other cases of Umar Ayub is taking place in Islamabad.Jamshed Iqbal Cheema, Musarrat Jamshed Cheema and others appeared in the court.The court after getting roll of the accused signed extended their interim bail till October 8.On the other side ATC ordered to confirm the interim bails of 96 accused in connection with cases registered against them in Kasur in May 9 incident.Judge Arshid Javed heard the interim bail pleas of the accused.The cases are registered against the accused in police station Allah Abad, A-division Kasur and Khadian Kasur.
