Tehran: The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched the 22nd wave of Operation True Promise 4, firing Khorramshahr 4, Khaibar, and Fattah missiles at American and Israeli positions across the Persian Gulf and Tel Aviv.

The IRGC said the operation, code-named "Ya Hossein ibn Ali (AS)," was carried out in retaliation for the Minab school attack that killed Iranian children. One of the missiles, the ultra-heavy Khorramshahr-4, carried a 2-ton warhead and traveled at speeds exceeding Mach 14.

American and Israeli bases, including Ben Gurion Airport and military centers in Haifa, were targeted. IRGC officials said most missiles used in the first week were from production years 2012-2014, with advanced new-generation missiles expected to be deployed in upcoming waves.

Brigadier General Ali Mohammad Naeini, IRGC spokesperson, emphasized that Iran is prepared for a prolonged war and warned that the enemy should expect strong retaliatory blows in every operation.
