Islamabad: Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam has extended gratitude and congratulations to the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan for successfully hosting the significant multilateral event of Regional Transport Ministers Conference 2025.
In his message, Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam said, 'I was highly honored that the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran participated in this prestigious event at the highest level.'
He maintained, 'The geographical location of our region, rich in natural and human resources, reflects a unique geopolitical configuration that, combined with deep-rooted cultural linkages, makes it a vital hub of geoeconomics within a broader spectrum. This dynamics will contribute to enhanced regional and transregional connectivity, sustainable transport cooperation, and ultimately to the broader sustainable development of the entire region, leading to the prosperity and welfare of our societies.'
'The South-North and East-West Corridors, conceptualized within this framework, provide a constructive platform for cooperative engagement among the friendly and brotherly countries of Iran, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Trkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka, among others,' he added.
