Islamabad: Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni has made offer of assistance to Pakistan for flood affectees. Iranian FO extended the offer for help during his telephonic conversation with interior minister Mohsin Naqvi. Iranian interior minister has expressed grief and condoled over loss to precious lives during heavy rains and flash floods in all over Pakistan, particularly KP and Gilgit.
He expressed heartfelt sympathy with the bereaved families and extended offer for assistance to flood hit people. He said Pakistan is our brotherly neighboring country. We are ready to extend every help in this trying time. He said we are deeply saddened to see the destruction caused by floods in Pakistan. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our Pakistani brethren.
Interior minister Mohsin Naqvi thanked his Iranian counterpart for expression of solidarity and offer of assistance for flood affectees. He expressed government's commitment to the relief and rehabilitation of the flood affected people. Interior minister said all the institutions are in field to help the flood affectees and relief and rehabilitation of affectees is our top priority.
