Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday spoke with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Jordan, Ayman Safadi.

The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister appreciated Jordan's role in receiving the Global Sumud Flotilla's released detainees and facilitating their return home. He also thanked Jordan for its assistance in enabling the return of former Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan to Amman, who is scheduled to reach Pakistan tomorrow (Thursday).

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan-Jordan relations through continued high-level engagement, and cooperation for regional peace and stability.
