Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held delegation-level talks on Tuesday with the visiting Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov.The two sides discussed prospective Azerbaijani investments in Pakistan's oil and gas, minerals and mining, meat and livestock, and hospitality sectors, and agreed to explore additional avenues of cooperation in these areas. Senior officials from relevant ministries also attended the meeting.Meanwhile earlier on Tuesday Ishaq Dar received Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, who is visiting Pakistan with a business delegation, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.The two Ministers had a productive exchange of views on expanding bilateral economic cooperation, in line with the understanding reached between the leaderships of the two countries during the 8 November 2025 meeting in Baku.
