Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday held a telephonic conversation with Dr. Khalil ur Rehman, congratulating him on his recent appointment.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, both leaders expressed their desire to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh, guided by a shared vision of peace, stability, and prosperity.

The two sides also agreed to enhance cooperation across a wide range of sectors and to work closely in multilateral fora, with the aim of building a forward-looking and mutually beneficial partnership for the peoples of Pakistan and Bangladesh.
