Ishaq Dar reaffirms Pakistan’s commitment to the values of compassion, solidarity and service to humanity

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to the values of compassion, solidarity and service to humanity. He said that Pakistan takes pride in its longstanding tradition of generosity, volunteerism and community service.

This was stated by Ishaq Dar in his message on World Humanitarian Day observed on Wednesday. Ishaq Dar said that on World Humanitarian Day, Pakistan joins the international community in paying tribute to humanitarian workers and volunteers who dedicate themselves to helping people in times of need.

He said that this day reminds us of the importance of compassion, service and standing with those affected by disasters and other emergencies. It is also an occasion to renew our collective commitment to supporting vulnerable communities and serving humanity.

He said that Pakistan takes pride in its longstanding tradition of generosity, volunteerism and community service. These values are deeply rooted in our society and have consistently brought our people together in times of difficulty.

Ishaq Dar said that our experience of climate-induced disasters has repeatedly demonstrated the resilience and solidarity of the people of Pakistan. Citizens, together with federal and provincial institutions, have stepped forward to assist affected communities and contribute to relief and recovery efforts.
