Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday spoke with Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Botchway.

Ishaq Dar highlighted Pakistan's role as a founding member of the Commonwealth and reaffirmed its commitment to democracy, good governance, development, and multilateral cooperation.

Both leaders discussed avenues to further strengthen collaboration across priority areas of mutual interest, particularly through enhanced intra-Commonwealth cooperation.
