Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday.

Ishaq Dar held a warm and constructive restricted meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani.

The two sides reaffirmed the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Syria and discussed ways to further advance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They also held in-depth discussions on regional developments.
