Islamabad: Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif while extending invitation to opposition once again for talks has said we are ready for purposeful talks.
"Come and play positive role for fortification of democracy and betterment in economy. Clapping is made with two hands. It depends on opposition what way it adopts, he said this while talking in cabinet meeting here Thursday.
PM said government is ready for meaningful talks with opposition. We have invited opposition repeatedly early for talks. We always prefer to dialogue. We say still come to negotiating table for solidification of democracy and development of economy and for resolving all the problems through dialogue.
He said that clapping is made with two hands. It depends on opposition what way it adopts. It is serious how much in connection with the problems of the country.
He held government is striving to provide every possible relief to people. The region is facing difficulties since some time. Its impacts are falling on Pakistan too. But we did not allow the burden to be shifted to people.
Despite hike in prices of oil in international market during the recent war we gave relief to people by allocating Rs 128 billion. We did not let the burden to be shifted to people. Provinces too participated in this work and they extended full- fledged cooperation.
Significant steps were taken for improvement in economy during two and half years which yielded positive results. App was inaugurated by the government for traders community in consultation with them. FBR policy is very clear. The traders will not be harassed unduly.
He said Google delegation has come to Pakistan these days. Conducive meeting has been held with the delegation. Google office has been inaugurated in Islamabad. Steps are being taken to digitalize every sector. Google addition will benefit. He said reduction in price of petrol Rs 32 per liter is good omen. Government is endeavoring to provide relief of all kind to common man and people.
