Ishaq Dar underscores Pakistan’s immense IT potential, youthful talent, and rapidly growing digital economy

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar addressed as keynote speaker on Wednesday at the launch of IBI Pakistan Digital Economy Headquarters.

He highlighted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's vision of making Pakistan a regional digital and innovation hub.

He underscored Pakistan's immense IT potential, youthful talent, and rapidly growing digital economy, along with the opportunities emerging under CPEC 2.0 - transitioning from physical infrastructure to intelligent infrastructure, digital connectivity, AI, ICT, and innovation ecosystems.

He reaffirmed the strength of Pakistan-China All-Weather Strategic Partnership, describing it as an enduring and trusted relationship entering a new phase of digital and economic cooperation.

The launch of IBI's Digital Economy Headquarters, he noted, marks another milestone in Pak-China friendship and reflects growing confidence in Pakistan's future as a platform for technology, investment, and digital transformation.
