Islamabad: Two ASI's of federal police are reported to be involved in the cases of kidnapping for ransom by forming a gang.

It has been disclosed the accused lifted a gold trader , kept him in a private torture cell, subjected him to torture and grabbed Rs 2 crores from him.

Sources said they freed the trader after grabbing money through torture and obtaining his thumb impression on plain paper .

SP Sadar Kazim has declared both the ASI's culprit by holding an inquiry. The case has been registered against both the ASIs along with their accomplices.

The trader who hailed from Swat was returning to Swat after selling gold.

Trader said two ASIs of police along with their accomplices stopped him and took him to torture cell forcibly. They took away Rs 4 crore lying in the car on the pretext of search.

On imploring, they returned 2 crore rupees and they kept remaining 2 crore with them.

On the application of the trader, IG Islamabad Ali Nasir Rizvi ordered inquiry.

SP Sadar Ali Kazim registered case against them by declaring them culprit in the inquiry.
